Iron Maiden has no "Typical" sound. As far as the whole DiAnno v.s. Dickenson thing goes, neither singer can do what the other singer does. Both have distinct styles and qualities that complimented the music beautifully. I just wish there was at least one more album done with DiAnno singing.

It depends on how you see it.
The first Iron Maiden i heard was this album. I have had the opportunity to experience Maiden as it was from the beginning, and litteraly see the progress as the new albums came. I think its the only way to really "understand" Maiden, all i see is a natural development.

Does it sound like a typical Iron Maiden song? I mean, I understand it is DiAnno and not Dickinson, but Phantom of the Opera and Iron Maiden (song) is completely different sounds, and what Iron Maiden to me sounds like.
