This song was infact about sid and nancy. Joey had met sid a couple times and after he heard bout the "murder" and then sid OD'ed he wrote this song that was gonna be in a sid and nancy movie. Then nancy's mom didnt want this song in it because the way it portrayed sid.....she said it pretty much had a pro sid view and she didnt like that so the song wasn't added and it went into the ramones personal collection until it's release on anthology.
